About fanlistings

A fanlisting is, quite simply, an online list of fans for a given subject. It's easy to join; all you need is a name, e-mail address, and country. Your e-mail is used only for database purposes and so that the fanlisting owner can contact you, for example if the listing moves or is closed. Also, if you choose to list your e-mail address on the list, other members will be able to contact you, and if you so wish, you'll be able to contact them too. It's a great way to get in contact with other fans!

About 舞-HiME

舞-HiME (My-HiME, often called Mai-HiME due to the protagonist's name) follows the story of Tokiha Mai, a friendly, hard-working girl who discovers she has strange abilities when she and her brother transfer to Fuka Academy. Before long, Mai finds out that she, along with her new friends Mikoto and Natsuki, is a HiME, one of a group of twelve girls given powers with which to fight and destroy Orphans. Naturally, though, things aren't that simple, as androids, research corporations, and of course rampant teenage emotions threaten to get in the way, making Mai and her companions' mission even harder.

First an anime, then a manga, and now with a handful of spin-off series and games, 舞-HiME is a great story mixing elements of the magical girl and seinen genres. Cute girls with magical powers, hints of - and sometimes more than hints of - yuri, and plenty of panty shots... all this with a powerful story about the fate of twelve young women and those they love most. Does it get any better than this?
