A fanlisting is, quite simply, an online list of fans for a given subject. It's easy to join; all you need is a name, e-mail address, and country. Your e-mail is used only for database purposes and so that the fanlisting owner can contact you, for example if the listing moves or is closed. Also, if you choose to list your e-mail address on the list, other members will be able to contact you, and if you so wish, you'll be able to contact them too. It's a great way to get in contact with other fans!

about Runaways

Runaways is a comic book series created by Brian K. Vaughan (w) and Adrian Alphona (a) in 2003, and published by Marvel Comics. To date, the comic has run in three volumes, with Vaughan and Alphona leaving the series towards the end of the second. Joss Whedon (w) and Michael Ryan (a) finished the second volume with a six-issue run, and as of August 2008, volume three is underway with Terry Moore (w) and Humberto Ramos (a) at the helm.

Well-known for being unusual in its difference to normal superhero titles, Runaways does away with aliases, uniforms and team names, focusing instead on a group of kids who run away from home when they find out that their parents are part of a supervillain cult known as The Pride. However, the kids aren't exactly "normal" themselves, the group consisting of witch Nico, alien Karolina, super-strong mutant Molly, scientist Chase, strategist Alex, time-traveller Gertrude, and later, half-android Victor, Skrull Xavin and florapath Klara. The kids, in contrast to their parents, decide to use their powers for good.

about Karolina and Nico

Since they were young, Karolina and Nico, like all the children of The Pride, have seen each other at least once a year, and as a result have a relatively close relationship, which only grows stronger due to the events they later experience with their other friends. Throughout the first volume of the series, it's hinted that Karolina has feelings for Nico, hints that are later expressed fully when she admits her feelings and tries to kiss the other girl. While Nico rejects her, she never states her own feelings, and is distraught when Karolina leaves to wed Xavin.

After Karolina's return, the two are closer than ever, although their relationship is sometimes strained by the Majesdanian's feelings towards Nico (despite her relationship with Xavin, she makes it clear that she has deeper feelings towards her friend than the Skrull will ever know), and Nico's own ambiguous feelings in return.

Whether fans see the relationship between Karolina and Nico as a friendship, or a romance, or somewhere in between, it's definitely a strong relationship, and they make a great team!
